Job summary

Engineers Gate (EG) is seeking a Quantitative Developer to support global equities trading across asset classes. You will develop and maintain production-level systems for live trading in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Portfolio Managers, turning research prototypes into robust infrastructure, handling real-time market data, and supporting order management. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential, with excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-level Python development experience.
• Familiar with trading systems, execution platforms and market data feeds.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Commitment to robust, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade live trading systems with Portfolio Manager.
• Transition research prototypes into robust real-time trading infrastructure.
• Handle real-time market data ingestion, processing, and reconciliation.
• Support order management and execution workflows.
• Evaluate and optimize the technology stack for performance and cost.
• Own assigned tasks and deliverables end-to-end.
• Assist in managing SQL databases and data infrastructure improvements.
• Optimize resource usage across systems.
