Job summary

Jump Trading Group in Singapore seeks a Quantamental Research Analyst to advance ETF pricing insights and corporate action implications. You will collaborate with global traders and quants to translate research into trade ideas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
  • 3–6 years in buy/sell-side research, prop trading, ETF/index research, or corporate actions analysis.
  • High attention to details and ability to identify information that the market might have missed.
  • Quantitative mindset to develop a systematic approach to address problems.
  • Strong understanding of company fundamentals and financial ratios.
  • Comfortable with large datasets using Python.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with quantitative traders globally in performing in-depth research on ETF pricing and trading strategy.
  • Analyze the fundamental implications of corporate actions and special situations; determine fair value and generate trade ideas.
  • Improve dividend predictions and analyze their impact on equity indices and futures.
  • Work with equity quants to study datasets, understand relationships with asset prices, and develop prediction models or use cases.
  • Work with quantitative developers to productionize, automate, and scale research and trading processes.
  • Be on top of macroeconomic events and market news to identify trading opportunities not captured by automated strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

What You'll Do:
