Job summary

Murex is seeking an Analytics Intern to join our Paris office. You will contribute to mathematical modelling, analytics and technology in a global fintech setting, collaborating with researchers, engineers and product experts on MX.3 platform enhancements and risk analytics.

Ideal candidates are final-year engineering students or MSc graduates in quantitative fields with strong math, data science, and Python skills, and a keen interest in financial markets and technology.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in engineering or quantitative master's program.
• Investigation of quantitative finance and data science topics.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus depending on team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex financial and quantitative challenges and design analytical solutions.
• Develop, validate and benchmark models and analytical frameworks.
• Build prototypes, testing environments and data-driven tools using modern technologies.
• Collaborate with researchers, product specialists and software engineers to enhance MX.3 solutions.
• Explore topics in quantitative finance, risk analytics, optimization and AI and present findings.
