Job summary

A leading staffing solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a Quality Technician to ensure product excellence through inspections and documentation. You will perform various inspections, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in quality control and is skilled in using inspection tools. This role involves rotating shifts while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts on a weekly basis.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic GD&T drawings.
  • Strong understanding of CORE Tools and quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections based on job instruction sheets.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI in compliance with AS9102 standards.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and gauges.
  • Raise Quality Notifications for any non-conformances.

Join our team as a Quality Technician and play a key role in ensuring product excellence through precise inspections and documentation. You’ll work with advanced tools and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections based on job instruction sheets
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and Delta FAI in compliance with AS9102 standards
  • Use various inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges) for dimensional checks
  • Raise Quality Notifications (QN) for any non-conformances
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment and gages
  • Ensure proper documentation and stamping of quality records
  • Uphold 5S standards at workstations and inspection areas
  • Communicate effectively across teams and departments
  • Comply with EH&S and Quality Management System (QMS) policies
  • Support CORE and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts (weekly basis)
  • Ability to read and interpret basic GD&T drawings
  • Skilled in using hand gages and basic CMM operations (Carl Zeiss / Wenzel)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word (SAP knowledge is a plus)
  • MPI Level 2 certification in Non-Destructive Testing is an advantage
  • Understanding of CORE Tools and quality methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
