Job summary

Kimberly-Clark Singapore Mill seeks a Quality Team Leader to drive the QMS and quality culture across the facility. You will lead a cross-functional team, ensure compliance with EHSMS/QMS, and act as the primary contact for customer issues.

You will monitor performance, drive continual improvement, and align processes with corporate guidelines while developing your team and ensuring safe, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality Management & Systems.
• Team management and leadership capability.
• Cross-functional team collaboration.
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence broad multifunctional team.
• ISO certifications and exposure to Microbiology is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Facility Leadership in developing and implementing the quality management system (QMS) and quality culture.
• Ensure compliance with KC EHSMS, QMS, sustainability and regulatory requirements; drive continual quality improvements.
• Be the voice for the mill to internal and external customers and primary contact for issue resolution.
• Ensure QMS conforms to requirements and processes deliver intended outputs.
• Report on QMS performance and opportunities for improvement to top management.
• Promote quality, regulatory and customer requirements across the organization.
• Maintain integrity of QMS during changes; implement approved improvements.
• Approve or reject plans, processes, materials and products to meet customer expectations.
• Serve as liaison with internal/external parties on quality systems matters.
• Adopt and enforce safety practices in lab and quality operations.
• Manage and develop team members.

Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

• Provide Facility Leadership in the development and implementation of the quality management system (QMS) and quality culture that complies with legislative and corporate requirements and reinforces facility vision.
• Comply with KC EHSMS, QMS, sustainability, regulatory, and management system requirements, and contribute to continual improvement in quality, environmental, health, and safety performance.
• Be the voice / representative of the mill to internal and external customers –be the key contact for customer issue resolution.
• Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of this standard.
• Ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.
• Reporting on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to top management.
• Ensuring the promotion of quality, regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Ensuring that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
• Approving or rejecting plans, processes, materials and products to successfully address customer expectations.
• Serving as a liaison with internal and external parties on all matters relating to quality systems.
• Adopt safety practices that meet safety codes, policies, and guidelines; own safety practices for lab and quality operations.
• Approveor reject plans, processes, materials and products to successfully address customer expectations.
• Ensure supplier management programs are designed and implemented to improve quality of raw materials; incorporates the quality principles to operate effectively.
• Design and implement documentation of document control system and processes.
• Ensure alignment to corporate/regional internal control guidelines when putting up process and procedures; accurate application and regular review of policies and procedures.
• Manage and develop team members.
