Job summary

A well-established company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct inspections and testing of raw materials and finished products. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining ISO documentation, and providing technical support to production teams.   • Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6pm)
Job Responsibilities
  • Daily Inspection & Testing
  • Conduct routine checks on incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
  • Perform tensile strength testing using the tensile test machine and other relevant laboratory equipment (e.g., tensile strength machine, thickness gauge, kaliper, micrometer meter).
  • Record and analyze test data to ensure compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor production parameters and identify any abnormalities that may affect product quality.
  • Issue Stop Machine Order and Stop Shipment Order when process/product out of control. Buyoff the product and stamp QC accept/reject.
  • Quality Documentation & ISO Compliance – Handle ISO‑related documentation, including preparation, filing, and updating of quality records.
  • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) according to ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documents and evidence.
  • Ensure calibration records of laboratory equipment are maintained and up to date.
  • Report any non‑conforming materials or products and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Work with production and engineering teams to identify root causes and propose improvements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Provide technical support to production teams on quality‑related issues.
  • Assist in developing or revising testing procedures, SOPs, and inspection criteria.
Qualifications
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent with 1‑2 years’ experience with inspection or laboratory equipment is an advantage (e.g., tensile strength tester, caliper, micrometer).
