Job summary

A leading medical devices manufacturer in Singapore seeks a Quality Control Inspector. Responsibilities include performing quality inspections using various tools, maintaining accurate quality records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Preferred candidates will have at least 1 year of QC experience and familiarity with quality control tools. Training will be provided for those with less experience. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control inspections using various measuring tools.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and comply with GDP requirements.
  • Report product abnormalities and initiate NCRs when issues are found.
  • Support supervisor in investigating complaints and quality issues.
  • Ensure daily housekeeping and safety regulations are observed.

Job description

  • Working hours: 12 Hours Rotating Shift (9am/pm to 9pm/am)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control inspections using pin gauge, Vison Measurement (VMS) machine, measuring tape etc for dimension measurement, and product functional test such as tensile measurement in accordance with quality inspection standards
  • Maintain accurate quality records and retain sample collections in compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements
  • Promptly report any product abnormalities and initiate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) when quality issue are identified
  • Support supervisor in investigating customer complaints, quality issues, and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain daily 5S housekeeping in the assigned area daily. Ensure safety regulations are being observed at the workplace
  • Assist the superior to complete other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably at least 1 year of QC work background, familiar with 7 QC tools
  • Blueprint reading capabilities, and ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers
  • Training will be provided for candidate without or with lesser experiences
