Job summary

A medical devices manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections using measuring tools and maintain quality records. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of QC experience, be familiar with quality control tools, and possess the ability to read blueprints. Training is provided for those with lesser experience. This role offers a salary range of $2500 - $3500 plus allowances and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferably at least 1 year of QC work background, familiar with 7 QC tools.
• Ability to utilize tools for measurement such as gauges and meters.
• Training will be provided for candidates with lesser experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections using various measuring tools.
• Maintain accurate quality records in compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
• Report product abnormalities and initiate Non-Conformance Report when needed.
• Support investigations of customer complaints and quality issues.
• Maintain daily 5S housekeeping and ensure safety regulations.
• Assist management with additional assigned tasks.

• Working hours: 12 Hours Rotating Shift (9am/pm to 9pm/am)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections using pin gauge, Vison Measurement (VMS) machine, measuring tape etc for dimension measurement, and product functional test such as tensile measurement in accordance with quality inspection standards
• Maintain accurate quality records and retain sample collections in compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements
• Promptly report any product abnormalities and initiate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) when quality issue are identified
• Support supervisor in investigating customer complaints, quality issues, and implementing corrective actions
• Maintain daily 5S housekeeping in the assigned area daily. Ensure safety regulations are being observed at the workplace
• Assist the superior to complete other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• Preferably at least 1 year of QC work background, familiar with 7 QC tools
• Blueprint reading capabilities, and ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers
• Training will be provided for candidate without or with lesser experiences
