Job Description

As Quality Engineer at NTS Singapore, you will be the guardian of our quality standards, working at the intersection of suppliers, production and customers. You'll maintain our ISO 9000 quality system while leading a team of QA/QC professionals to deliver excellence in every product. Through advanced quality tools like SPC, FMEA and 8D problem‑solving, you'll identify issues before they arise and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance our manufacturing processes and supplier performance.

Further key responsibilities are:
  • Maintain and improve the ISO 9000 quality system and conduct internal quality audits to ensure compliance across all operations.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of QA/QC Technicians and Inspectors, providing quality support to production and ensuring hands‑on inspection capability.
  • Qualify new suppliers through defined SPQP and APQP processes, manage First Article Inspections, and conduct regular supplier audits with corrective action follow‑through.
  • Develop and implement quality prevention processes by working closely with suppliers, production teams and customers to exceed expectations.
  • Analyze supplier performance data, structure monthly scorecard meetings, and drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Formulate quality inspection controls, manage non‑conformance reporting through databases and Excel, and apply GD&T knowledge for precision measurements.
  • Collaborate with the SCM team to prioritize improvements and ensure critical quality topics are addressed systematically.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in supplier and customer quality management, with hands‑on application of SPC, FMEA and 8D problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 quality systems with excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and presentation tools; GD&T knowledge is an advantage.
  • A team player who is self‑driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • CMM – FARO ARM operating knowledge is a plus.
