Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to ensure that product quality meets customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with 2-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Certification in Lean Six Sigma and proficiency in Excel are desirable. The role entails resolving daily quality issues and conducting root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum with Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering related to manufacturing/operations.
• Preferable at least 2 - 3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Certified in Lean Six Sigma (minimum Green Belt certified) and practical experience in 8D methodology will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in the use of Excel to perform job duties satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products, processes, and system quality adhere to customer specifications and internal quality systems.
• Perform internal and external corrective actions (CAR, audits) and manage RMA issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality counterparts, resolving daily quality issues.
• Work with other sections to monitor and improve yield through 8D and driving improvement activities.
• Perform root cause analysis and reject investigations for product fallout.
