Job summary

A leading aerospace firm in Singapore is seeking a quality assurance specialist to ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations and administer quality audit programs. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in aviation quality. Responsibilities include conducting training, monitoring safety management systems, and participating in audits. Strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and knowledge of regulatory requirements are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in aviation quality field.
  • Trained Internal Quality Auditor or Lead Auditor preferred.
  • Possess knowledge of statistical tools and methodology.

Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • a) Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulatory requirements and quality standards
  • b) Administration of quality audit program, conduct of internal quality audits and vendor audits
  • c) Conduct training on quality related subjects, airworthiness regulations and human factors
  • d) Monitoring of Safety Management System program
  • e) Administration of approved vendor program
  • f) Validation of capability evaluation reviews
  • g) Administrate and assessment of personnel authorization approval
  • h) Conduct incident investigation, 8D defect analysis and drive corrective actions
  • i) Participate in regulatory and customer audits
  • j) Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.
  • k) Support and participation in Continuous Improvement program
  • l) Any other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
  • a) Diploma / Degree holder in aviation related, mechanical / electrical / electronic engineering or equivalent
  • b) CAAS paper L11/L12, H11, M9, M10 and/or equivalent will be advantageous
  • c) Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in aviation quality field will be an advantageous
  • d) Knowledge on airworthiness regulatory requirements and AS9110 & AS9120 Standards
  • e) Trained Internal Quality Auditor or Lead Auditor is preferred
  • f) Safety Management System trained will be an added advantage
  • g) Good communication and procedure writing skills
  • h) Willing to work excess hours when required
  • j) Possess knowledge of statistical tools and methodology
  • k) Good team player with problem solving skills and good time management
