Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is looking for a chemical engineer to oversee process compliance and quality management. The role requires auditing, training, and collaboration for continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in chemical engineering and have at least one year of related experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, both orally and with written correspondence.
Responsibilities
- Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes.
- Conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure process compliance.
- Actively involve in new process setup and qualification program.
- Involve in quality issues investigations and corrective actions.
- Translate customers’ specifications to Work Instructions/SOPs.
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company.
- Perform internal audits for process compliance.
- Trigger process improvement initiatives.
- Provide training to operators and staff.
- Ensure good housekeeping at the workplace.
- Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Education

Responsibilities
- Perform review/gap analysis on customer’s specifications for chemical processes, with adequate process control measures.
- To conduct quarterly internal audits to ensure process compliance according to plating specifications
- Actively involve in new process setup, buy-off and qualification program
- Involve in quality issues investigations, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Translate customers’ specifications to Work Instructions/SOPs
- Responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company.
- Perform internal audits to ensure process, product and system are complied with requirements.
- Aggressive to trigger process improvement in terms of better quality, more stable process, improve productivity, reduce cycle time etc.
- Provide training to the operators, inspectors and executive staff continuously to achieve team or Company’s objective.
- Ensure good-house keeping at the work place
- Any other ad-hoc duties or projects as and when assigned by the Manager or Management.
