Job summary

F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Singapore is seeking a QC Analyst to perform testing and data review of incoming materials and support batch release activities in accordance with SOPs.

You will ensure timely reporting of results, maintain lab equipment and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including change controls and lean practices, while collaborating with the team to uphold GMP standards. A degree in chemistry is preferred and strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree/ Diploma in chemistry or related discipline preferred.
• Strong English verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Office.
• Able to execute SOPs independently or with minimal supervision.

• Testing, documentation and review of routine and non-routine QC samples per SOP.

Job description

The Position Purpose

Supports Department in the following: Perform QC tests and data review (paper/electronic) for batch release of incoming materials. Identify and/or lead Continuous Improvement to drive process simplification and gain efficiencies. Undertake additional responsibilities as required by line manager to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing, documentation and review of routine and non-routine QC samples in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure timely completion of tests and reporting of test results in support of manufacturing operations.
• General lab support including housekeeping, equipment maintenance and maintaining lab supplies inventory.
• Initiates change control to create/revise existing SOP(s) as needed.
• Responsible to complete all training prior to execution of GMP activities.
• Leadership: Work co-operatively with line manager to create an environment of strong team spirit, timely and effective communications.
• Strive towards team’s objectives/goals, takes the initiative and proactively turn ideas into action - to make things happen.
• Embod y PT behaviors, lean principles and methods while fostering a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization by encouraging experimentation and learning.
• A team player and the willingness to cover other colleagues in support of QC operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree/ Diploma (chemistry or other relevant discipline) is preferred.
• Knowledge/ Skills/ Competencies: Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in English. Working knowledge and able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Words) confidently. Executes established SOP(s) independently or with minimal supervision.
