Job Purpose

To ensure CNC machined parts and machines meet defined quality, dimensional, and functional requirements through systematic inspection, verification, and documentation. The role also supports the development and maintenance of inspection procedures and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs to ensure consistent and compliant quality practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and update inspection procedures and SOPs related to part and machine inspection
  • Ensure procedures comply with ISO requirements and company quality management systems Standardize inspection methods to ensure consistent application across operations Support internal and external audits through proper documentation and records Provide training and guidance on inspection procedures to relevant personnel
  • Carry out machine accuracy and alignment inspections in accordance with defined inspection standards Perform dimensional and visual inspection of CNC machined parts using appropriate measuring equipment
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in CNC manufacturing or quality inspection
  • Experience in CNC turning and machining center environment
  • Exposure to CMM inspection and machine accuracy checks is an advantage
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD and T
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes and inspection methods
  • Familiar with inspection instruments and calibration requirements
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
