Job summary

A Singapore-based consulting firm is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that materials and products meet specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant quality control experience and proficiency in MS Office applications. The role involves monitoring production operations, maintaining testing records, and discussing results with responsible parties. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6 pm.

Job description

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications
• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actions
• Discard or reject products, materials and equipment not meeting specifications
• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
• Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database
• NCR data collections and photos taking

Qualifications Summary

• Experience: This position requires minimum 1-year relevant experience in quality control
• Education: Minimum ITE grad
• Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.

Mon to Fri: 8:30am to 6pm
