Job Description
The role involves managing QC engineers, ensuring all ACMV and mechanical works meet project specifications, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QC (Mechanical) team to implement quality control processes for ACMV and mechanical works.
- Review and approve quality procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and material submissions.
- Oversee inspections, audits, and testing of equipment, materials, and site installations.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on quality matters.
- Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and reports for audits and project handover.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QC engineers and site personnel.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control for ACMV/mechanical works, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of ACMV and mechanical systems, materials, and QA/QC procedures.
- Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Willingness to work at Tuas with transportation pick up at designated MRT station.
