Job summary

Jointhire Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Control professional to manage inspection gates and CMM programs for high-tolerance parts. You will approve FAI and NPI documentation, lead CAPA activities, and mentor QC staff.

The role requires 5+ years in CNC/metals QC, strong GD&T and SPC knowledge, and hands-on CMM expertise. You will oversee supplier performance and conduct vendor audits in a Singapore-based facility (Buroh) with standard Mon-Fri hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering required.
• 5+ years in quality control within CNC machining or metal manufacturing.
• Advanced blueprint reading, GD&T and CMM usage.
• Practical command of SPC, CpK, Gage R&R and FMEA.

Responsibilities

• Handle non-conformance reports (NCR), leading corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) via 8D or 5-Why methodologies
• Train, mentor, and schedule the daily work of QC inspectors and work closely with quality engineers
• Monitor supplier performance, qualify new vendors, and lead external vendor audits

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Precision Engineering
• More than 5 years working in quality control within a CNC machining or metal manufacturing setting
• Advanced blueprint reading, Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) usage
• Practical command of Statistical Process Control (SPC), CpK, Gage R&R, and FMEA

Compensation:

• Working location: Buroh
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 17:30)
