Job description
Position Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all products and components meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proven experience using a variety of precision measurement instruments, including vernier calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough first-article, in-process, and final inspections of Quartz components, and finished goods.
  • Operate a wide range of precision measuring and test equipment to verify product dimensions and conformance to specifications.
  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, and technical specifications to understand critical dimensions and tolerances.
  • Document inspection results accurately by completing detailed reports and quality logs.
  • Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials or products.
  • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to provide feedback on quality issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Participate in internal/external audits and support the company's adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring all measurement equipment is properly calibrated, stored and maintained.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.
  • Expertly use measurement tools such as:
    • Vernier Calipers
    • Height Gauges
    • Micrometers (Inside, Outside, Depth)
    • Dial Indicators
    • Pin Gauges
    • Thread Gauges
    • Surface Plates etc.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Required:
    • ITE in Engineering or higher or equivalent.
    • Fresh graduate may apply and maybe consider before on-the-job training will be provided.
    • Demonstrable, hands‑on experience with precision measuring tools (vernier calipers, height gauges, micrometers, etc.).
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
    • Strong basic math and computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Preferred:
    • Diploma in Engineering or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience with ISO9001 QMS.
    • Experience using advanced measurement equipment (e.g., CMM) is a plus.
