Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is looking for an employee to conduct checks on incoming goods and perform pick and pack activities. You will also need to raise non-conformity reports, verify materials for repackaging, and ensure that all documents are accurate. Basic English and mathematics skills are required. This is a 6-month to 1-year contract position with transport provided.

Employment Type: 6 months to 1 year contract

Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.45pm

Overtime: May be required

Salary: $1,800 – $2,300 (depending on experience)

Transport: 2-way transport provided from Lakeside MRT

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct checks on incoming goods against customers’ reference documents.
2. Perform pick and pack activities; release goods that match the reference.
3. Raise non-conformity reports for any damaged goods.
4. Verify correct materials picked for repackaging.
5. Create work instructions for repackaging activities.
6. Conduct in-process sampling checks.
7. Check cargo against outgoing documents to ensure correct items are picked for outbound delivery.
8. Verify all documents are accurately completed.

Requirements

• Able to understand, read, and write simple English.
• Basic mathematics ability.
• Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as dust coat, hair net, and safety shoes.
