Quality Assurance Technician (Laboratory & Production Support)

Location: Ang Mo Kio | Full-time

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support laboratory and manufacturing operations to maintain our company’s high standards for quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ICP-OES analysis and various laboratory tests to support product manufacturing processes.
  • Manage inventory levels for pure metals, master alloys, and lab supplies through efficient planning and scheduling.
  • Organize and maintain laboratory documentation and records, ensuring proper housekeeping and equipment upkeep.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from daily analyses; regularly review reports to identify abnormalities.
  • Update statistical data and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) trends.
  • Enforce adherence to 7S standards, ICP lab protocols, and work instructions.
  • Maintain backups and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory databases.
  • Plan and implement daily activities to enhance lab workflow and efficiency.
  • Assist in special projects and tasks assigned by supervisors; support operational activities such as CAR, Work Cell, and SWR.
Requirements
  • NiTEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with laboratory instruments like viscometers, titrators, and oxygen analyzers is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational and communication skills.
