Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and inspection of production and warehouse processes to ensure compliance with company standards and food safety regulations (e.g., SFA).

• Review, verify, and maintain quality documentation, including batch records, checklists, and certificates of analysis.

• Collect and label raw material, in-process, and finished good samples for testing and evaluation.

• Prepare documentation and workspaces to ensure readiness for internal and external audits (e.g., Halal, GMP).

• Log customer feedback and non-conformances, and track them through the resolution process.

• Conduct basic physical and sensory tests on products in the quality control laboratory or test kitchen.

• Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and personal hygiene standards within the production area.

• Prepare and communicate routine quality reports and findings to the QA Officer and management.

Prerequisites

• Nitec in Applied Food Science, Food Science & Technology, Chemical Process Technology, or a related field.

• Practical understanding of food safety principles, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), andHalal requirements.

• Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.

• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility.

• Proactive and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• A collaborative team player with a positive work attitude.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
