Responsibilities

• Support the QS Manager / Project Manager in handling and calculating quantities and costings for various tender assignments.
• Conduct technical reviews of supplier/contractor quotations and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Understand and interpret general contracts and tender documents accurately.
• Prepare budget cost estimates and pricing analysis as instructed.
• Liaise with suppliers for product and service presentations.
• Provide technical solutions for any tender-related challenges.
• Coordinate with internal departments on documentation and tender issues.
• Follow up with suppliers and contractors regarding bills, quantities, and claims.
• Evaluate and update market unit rates for materials and labour on a monthly or quarterly basis.
• Handover tender documents and costing details to the project team upon award.
• Attend site show-rounds and respond to tender clarifications.
• Prepare for tender interviews and presentations.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma in M&E / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in QS, tendering, or costing.
• Strong understanding of tender documentation, contracts, and cost management processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with QS software/tools.
