Job summary

Unison Consulting is seeking an experienced Qlik Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale analytics using the Qlik platform. The role requires deep expertise in Qlik Sense/ QlikView architecture, data modeling, and BI strategy, collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to deliver scalable analytics.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise BI and analytics solutions with Qlik Sense/ QlikView.
• Strong data modeling, data integration, governance and security expertise.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and set development standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Qlik Sense/ QlikView.
• Define and govern enterprise BI architecture, data models and security.
• Establish best practices for Qlik development, deployment and maintenance.
• Architect scalable Qlik environments (on-premise/cloud) and manage performance.

Job description

• We are seeking an experienced Qlik Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale analytics solutions using the Qlik platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Qlik Sense / QlikView architecture, data modeling, and BI strategy, and will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to deliver scalable and high-performance analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Design and implement end-to-end BI and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense / QlikView.
• Define enterprise BI architecture, including data integration, data modeling, governance, and security.
• Establish best practices and standards for Qlik development, deployment, and maintenance.

Data Integration & Modeling

• Design optimized data models and ETL processes for Qlik applications.
• Integrate Qlik with various data sources such as databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and data warehouses.
• Ensure efficient data loading, transformation, and performance optimization.

Platform & Infrastructure

• Architect scalable Qlik environments (on-premise / cloud).
• Manage Qlik server architecture, security, and performance tuning.
• Support migration strategies (e.g., QlikView to Qlik Sense).

Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Qlik developers and BI teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Establish governance frameworks, reusable assets, and development standards.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize dashboards and data models for large datasets and high concurrency usage.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning strategies.
• Work with data engineers, architects, product owners, and business analysts to deliver analytics solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews and enterprise data strategy initiatives.

Requirements

Banking and domain

Qlik delivery inside banks for compliance, risk or regulatory users.

Multi-country, multi-segment access models in a regulated bank.

Domain-driven Qlik architecture: a central foundation data model, consolidated QVD layers and independently deployable subject-area apps.

Section Access and row-level security by country, business unit, customer segment and function, including security migrations with minimal report redesign.

Master measures, dimensions, KPIs and dashboard templates; development standards for multi-team estates.

Reload and app performance tuning at billions-of-rows scale.

Pushing transformation logic down to the data warehouse using SQL on Teradata and Trino/Impala.

Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik Cloud, QMC, scripting, incremental loads and ODAG.

Data and governance

Metadata, lineage and data dictionary management for reporting assets.

Reconciling dashboard figures to source systems.

Delivery and communication

Leading a Qlik re-architecture or migration from design to production.

Guiding Qlik developers and running design reviews.

Good-to-have skills

Qlik NPrinting, Qlik Automate, and the Engine and Capability APIs.

Microsoft Power BI: DAX, RLS and semantic models.

Exposing report catalogues and KPI definitions to generative BI or LLM tools.

Certifications (preferred):

Qlik Sense Data Architect; Qlik Sense System Administrator; Microsoft PL-300.
