Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Ensure QHSE policy and performance standards are developed, implemented, and maintained within businesses.
 - Conduct regular HSE inspections/ audits and monitor to ensure that any agreed corrective actions are completed.
 - Provide advice and assistance to ensure thorough investigation of incidents and appropriateness of corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence or eliminate/ minimize risk.
 - Develop and deliver HSE-related training to promote awareness.
 - Maintain an oversight of equipment maintenance regime and ensure adequate safety measures for equipment are in place.
 - Assist businesses to conduct risk assessment for identifying, assessing, controlling, and managing associated HSE risks at the workplaces.
 - Assist businesses to develop and document safe work procedures for carrying out work safely; including site specific emergency response procedures and a system to ensure fire safety/ lifesaving provisions are readily available.
 - Continually seek ways to improve HSE performance as well as contribute to department planning and initiatives to achieve risk minimization, minimizing environmental impact and align to industrial best practices.
 - Appointed environmental advocate and championing sustainability practices.
 - Harmonization of sustainability processes and share good practices across project sites
 - Monitor key indicators for HSE and sustainability performance for company and initiate improvement where needed.
 - Co-drive, promote and coordinate sustainability initiatives impacting Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in Environmental Services practice.
 - Promote digitization and technology adoption in sustainability practices.
 - Perform all other ad-hoc duties assigned by QHSE and Sustainability Manager.
 
Requirements
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or its equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience as HSE function
 - WSQ Develop Risk Management Implementation Plan
 - Internal Auditor in ISO 9001/ 45001/ 14001 Management Systems
 - Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer
 - Possess equivalent qualifications of Fire Safety Manager (Good to have)
 - Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Act and regulations
 - Familiar with implementation of ISO 9001/ 45001/ 14001 Management Systems
 - Good interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills, with the confidence to engage diverse stakeholders.
 - Highly motivated, goal oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 - Ability to work well in a team, with willingness to take initiative.
 - Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
