Job summary

A maritime management company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced individual with a Master’s F.G. or Chief Engineer (Class 1) Certificate of Competency. The role involves assisting in Quality Assurance and Safety, conducting audits, and investigating major incidents. Applicants must have at least 1 year of command experience on vessels and relevant certifications. This position offers opportunities to engage in QA & training activities and support the QHSE Department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year command experience or as Chief Engineer on board vessels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in QA & Training Department for the QHSE Department.
• Coordinate with FD & Superintendents on all matters.
• Assist in incident reports and major incident investigation.
• Carry out internal and external audits for the fleet.
• Assist in matters of safety and environment.
• Assist in Management Review and Evaluation of the Quality System.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by FD.

Education

Master’s F.G. or Chief Engineer (Class 1) Certificate of Competency

Completed an Internal Auditor’s course

Completed a course on Accident Investigation
