Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a QC Specialist to support QA/QC activities for new projects introduced in Tuas Vaccines. The role collaborates with global QC and MSAT to ensure method validation, transfer, and equipment qualification are completed on time.

You will lead validation, verification, transfer, and troubleshooting of analytical methods, manage documentation, and participate in lifecycle readiness, with strong GMP knowledge and 4–6 years of hands-on QC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, life sciences or related discipline.
• 4–6 years’ experience in a QC or analytical laboratory, preferably pharma or life sciences.
• Practical knowledge of GMP principles and laboratory quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with analytical methods and laboratory investigations.
• Experience coordinating method validation, verification or transfer activities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Leads method validation, development, verification, transfer and new equipment/technology introduction.
• Provides expertise and consultation to projects team on technical QC matters for regulatory compliance.
• Ensures timely project implementation with corporate and regulatory compliance.
• Keeps up-to-date on regulations and biopharma QC methods to maximize digitalization, automation and robotics.
• Collaborates with global QC networks on test method innovation to support facility design and modification.
• Writes/reviews change controls, deviations, CAPAs and GMP documents.
• Manages project budget and ensures spend aligns with targets.
• Performs testing to support test release and project plans.
• Respects safety and laboratory policies on site.
