Job summary

A precision engineering company based in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product quality meets standards. The successful candidate will perform quality assessments on incoming materials and outgoing parts, reject non-compliant products, and maintain inspection records. Job description
Your Calling
  • Perform regular quality assessment on all incoming materials from vendors, and outgoing parts for shipping
  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
  • Read mechanical drawings, plans and specifications to understand the requirements of the product
  • Measure product dimensions and compare the final product to the specifications
  • Visual inspection on finishing goods befor packing
  • Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics e.g. number of defective products per day
  • Monitor the use of measuring equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained
  • Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities given
Your Success Factors
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a quality inspector
  • Minimum NTC certification in Precision/Mechanical Engineering or any other related fields
  • Able to read mechanical drawings/blueprints
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
  • Great attention to detail
