A leading food safety company in Singapore is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager. This role involves maintaining product quality by ensuring compliance with HQ specifications and local regulations. The manager will oversee health and safety issues, negotiate with suppliers, and manage customer complaints related to quality. Additionally, the candidate will work closely with the Japan HQ to communicate quality outcomes and recommendations. Job description
Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure conformity with HQ specifications, government and industry standards.
Assures Product Quality, production processes, documents maintenance, production environment complied to our strict HQ standards as well as our local Government requirements.
Reviewing the quality standards and production processes from time to time and delivering HQ requirements pertaining to quality issues and quality/product regulatory compliance issues with external partners as well as internal production team and QC team.
Oversees the Workplace Health and Safety issues of the Company. Ensuring regulatory compliance and safe work procedures are instilled in the workplace.
Reporting any workplace accidents/near misses to our Japan HQ.
Responsible for maintaining Company's Food Safety Management System as well as Quality Management System and ensuring its strict compliance.
Negotiate with suppliers on raw materials as well as packaging materials procurement.
Investigate any customers' complaints regarding quality issues together with Production team and QC team.
Explaining and making reports and recommending corrective and preventive actions to our Japan HQ Quality Assurance Department.
Communicate and work closely with our Japan HQ Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management team.
Prepare reports to communicate the outcome of any quality activities to our Japan HQ Quality Assurance Dept.
