Job summary

A prominent service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced QC Manager to oversee quality control operations. This role includes supervising inspections, managing the quality team, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and 5-7 years of quality experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proficiency in relevant software and blue print reading is essential. A competitive salary of $4500-$5000 is offered.

Qualifications

  • Excellent use of productivity software (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Experience with First Article Process is advantageous.

Job Overview

Job Title: QC Manager (ID1702)
Location: Woodland
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6pm
Salary: $4500- $5000

Responsibilities
  • Supervises the Quality Control activities, including Quality Control inspection plan, schedules and the updating of Quality Records.
  • Supervise inspections, reports and the documentation done by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.
  • Prepare/ Review Quality records to customers, if needed.
  • Control of Customer’s drawings including updating of drawing revisions.
  • Preparation of Quality checklist, inspection criteria.
  • Manage in-house and supplier’s quality.
  • Manage, train, and evaluate QC inspectors.
  • Plan and manage all internal/ external audits.
  • Administer and improve company’s ISO Quality System and process.
  • Maintain document to ensure accurate and complete quality records.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and address complaints and conduct root cause analysis for product returns or defects.
  • Supervises equipment calibration management activities.
  • Safety - Risk Assessment (Preparation & Review).
  • Act hoc as per request.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree/Diploma/GCE “O” in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years in quality control or assurance with 2 years in supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent use of Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Acrobat and Windows.
  • Experience with the First Article Process is highly advantageous.
  • Blue print reading knowledge and manufacturing experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008.
  • Able to read and understand GD&T drawing.
