Job summary

A leading quality inspection company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual for a QA/QC role based in Tuas. The candidate must hold a diploma in Engineering and an NDT Level II certification in UT, MPI, or DPI. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and tests, documenting inspection statuses, and operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine. Previous experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus. A competitive salary range of $2000 to $2700 is offered, with additional overtime pay.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering or related field is required.
  • NDT Level II certification in UT, MPI, or DPI under ASNT or PCN standards is mandatory.
  • At least 2 years of experience in QA/QC roles.

Job description

Job Scope:
  1. Conduct assigned inspection and testing activities, following the established quality plan.
  2. Perform visual, incoming, in-process, and final inspections on products to confirm compliance with specifications.
  3. Execute Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, including Penetrant Testing and Ultrasonic Testing, as required.
  4. Operate and maintain the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to ensure dimensional accuracy of components.
  5. Verify that all products meet applicable test specifications, codes, standards, and customer requirements.
  6. Prepare and submit quality reports, certifications, and other required documentation for internal and external review.
  7. Clearly identify and document the inspection status of each product to ensure accurate traceability and quality control.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Holds at least an NDT Level II certification in UT, MPI, or DPI under ASNT or PCN standards.
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA/QC roles.
  4. Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  5. Previous exposure to or experience in the oil & gas industry is an advantage.
