Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC professional to ensure compliance with quality assurance plans and handle inspections. Candidates should have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of QA/QC experience in structural steelworks, and relevant certifications. This position involves maintaining quality records and liaising with various departments to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in Structural Steelworks.
• Possess certificate in CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS CWI/SCWI.
• Good knowledge of codes such as AWS D1.1, BS EN & ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is in accordance to the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP).
• Maintain QC inspection & test records and compile for submission to Customer.
• Liaise with Production Department on QC inspections & tests.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

1. Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance to the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP).
2. Maintain QC inspection & test records and to compile them for submission to Customer.
3. Liaise with Production Department on the conduct of QC inspections & tests and then arrange for witnessing from Customer.
4. Prepare Non-Conformance reports and to liaise with the relevant action parties on the proper disposition of such Non-Conformances.
5. Feedback to the team on the performance of all external specialist Sub-Contractors.
6. To prepare Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Project Quality Plan (PQP) to Customer’s contractual requirements.
7. Assist Management Representative (MR) to manage Company ISO 9001:2008 Quality System and OHSAS 18001:2007 Safety System.

Job Requirements:
