Job summary

SYNDAS INNOVATIVE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a meticulous CMM Operator to perform dimensional inspection of machined components and ensure conformance with drawings and GD&T specifications.

You will create and maintain Calypso inspection programs, optimize measurement routines for accuracy, and collaborate with engineering and production to drive CAPA and improve process stability. Strong attention to detail and precision are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CMM and interpreting GD&T drawings.
• Ability to create and maintain CMM inspection programs in Calypso.
• Capable of using precision measuring instruments for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform dimensional inspection of machined components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to verify product conformance.
• Conduct incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges and dial indicators.
• Create and maintain CMM inspection programs using Calypso software.
• Optimise measurement routines to improve inspection efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform production failure analysis and investigate dimensional non-conformities.
• Work with production team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
• Monitor quality trends and support process capability improvement.
• Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality documentation and traceability records.
• Prepare Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) reports.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing quality and process stability.
