GREYFORM PTE. LTD. seeks a Quality Control professional to perform QC testing on raw materials and concrete products, ensuring compliance with specifications.

You will manage non-conformances and lead calibration of critical testing equipment with a focus on accuracy and traceability. The role requires a Diploma in Civil/Building/Construction Engineering and at least 2 years in quality management within concrete industries, including the ability to work shifts and coordinate with multiple teams

Formación

• Diploma in Civil, Building or Construction Engineering is required.
• 2 years minimum experience in quality management in ready-mix/concrete industries.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to work in shift patterns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• ISO 9001 knowledge is advantageous.
• Candidates with 5+ years of experience but without a diploma are welcome to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect incoming materials and precast/concrete products and manage non-conformances.
• Monitor product quality during pre- and post-production.
• Interpret engineering/construction drawings.
• Maintain calibration programs for testing equipment.
• Prepare and maintain QC reports and records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors and subcontractors on inspection matters.
• Provide updates on QC testing and testing schedules in interdepartmental meetings.
• Serve as the key contact for testing requests and samples.

Overview

As a Quality Control, you will perform quality control testing on raw materials, ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete products and reworks to ensure relevant specifications are complied with.

Responsibilities

• 1) Responsible for incoming / outgoing inspection of raw materials and precast concrete products and all Non-Conformance.
• 2) Control and monitor product and material quality during pre and post production.
• 3) Knowledge in Engineering or Construction drawings.
• 4) Establish and maintain calibration program for critical concrete and rebar testing and measuring instrument.
• 5) Prepare and maintain all related quality reports and records.
• 6) Liaise with the client, consultant, vendors, sub-contractors and other relevant parties on field / factory inspection issues pertaining to the quality issues.
• 7) Attend required interdepartmental meetings including providing relevant updates on the status of QC testing and to obtain and relay information which may impact the testing schedule.
• 8) Act as the key point of contact for testing requests and samples received internally.
• 9) Act as the QC representative for regulatory or third part inspections.
• 10) Issue QC metrics for internal tiered meetings including quarterly QC business review meetings with management.
• 11) Train, coach and mentor staff whilst supporting QC Training Coordinator and QC training requirements.
• 12) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements

• 1) Minimum Diploma in Civil, Building or Construction Engineering.
• 2) Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Quality management in ready-mixed concrete or precast concrete industry.
• 3) Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
• 4) Able to work shift work pattern.
• 5) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• 6) Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an advantage
• 7) Those who do not have a Diploma but have a minimum of 5-years’ experience are welcome to apply.
