Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a QAQC Manager to oversee quality control on ongoing condominium projects. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and possess certifications in CONQUAS and Quality Mark. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, preparing reports, and training subcontractors to ensure high standards of quality are met.

Qualifications

  • Min 5 years’ experience as a QAQC Manager or Assistant QAQC Manager.
  • Experience with Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications.
  • Good knowledge of construction quality control and assurance.

Job description
QAQC Manager

Salary Range: $7500 to $8500

Working Location & Hours: based at project and 5.5 working days

Main responsibility

1. Set up and maintain good in process quality control of ongoing condominium projects

2. share & implement good quality control measures amount projects

3. Lead project watch teams on QM Conquas preparing & execution.

Responsibilities for covering project’s QAQC Engineer if lack of manpower
  • Conduct QAQC daily checks
  • Prepare monthly QAQC report for submission to Corporate QAQC Department
  • Conducting monthly QAQC Training to Sub-contractors
  • Issuance of QAQC Non-compliance to sub-contractors
  • Attend monthly QAQC presentation and meeting at Corporate QAQC Department
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements (in accordance to BCA’s Good Industry Practice & approval from the clients and consultants)
  • Arrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS/QM assessments. Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.
  • Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications or even conducting relevant training as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Architectural-trained or Structural-trained work experience
  • Min 5 years’ experience as a QAQC Manager/Assistant QAQC Manager in A1 building main construction company, with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge of construction quality control/assurance is necessary
  • Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS Manager and Quality Mark Certificate
