Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review QA/QC documentation.
• Liaise with Korean HQ for reports.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Reports to Project Manager
• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections on mainly Structural Works and Architectural Works
• Lead project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA’s good industry practice
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained
• Prepare QA/QC Plan, inspection & test plans/check list for site activities
• Review inspection and testing reports
• Issue NCRs, propose corrective action in a timely and effective manner
• Liaise directly to Korea HQ to update reports prepared in Korean
• Act as a key liaison for Korean-speaking executives, staff, and partners
• Coordinating with HQ team (South Korea)
• Oversee delivery inspection of project materials
• Review, approve and maintain QAQC related documentation
• Other duties as assigned and able to work with minimum supervision

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architectural or Civil / Structural Engineering
• At least 10 years experience in Building Projects
• At least 10 years of relevant managerial experience for A1 MNC Construction firm is essential for this position
• Experience in QA/QC role for Building Projects
• Experience in a multinational or Korean corporate environment is preferred
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean as need to liaise with Korean headquaters
