Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure adherence to quality procedures and standards. Responsibilities include preparing QA/QC documents, conducting inspections, and addressing non-conformance findings. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and good knowledge of QA/QC in electrical systems. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Electrical Power System background.
• Accredited ISO 9001 internal auditor certificate is an advantage.
• Good QA/QC knowledge on electrical, signal and communication inspection and testing.
• Good knowledge on interpretation of electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC procedures and checklists with project team members.
• Monitor daily site QA/QC activities to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Conduct inspections and issue QA/QC inspection reports.
• Investigate non-conformance causes and recommend actions.
• Ensure documentation and filing of QA/QC records.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Prepare QA/QC procedures, Project Quality Plan, Method Statement, checklist and inspection form with project team members
• Monitor daily site QA/QC activities, ensure that QA/QC procedures, Method Statement and Project Quality Plan is adhered by the project team members
• Conduct raw material inspection, site inspection, testing, post installation check out (PICO) and issue QA/QC inspection report
• Monitor and ensure all the tools and equipment are calibrated when it is due and update in Tools and Equipment List FY XXXX
• Investigate the cause of non-conformance with project team members and recommend corrective / preventive actions, if require to prevent recurrence
• Ensure that all audit findings on non-conformance findings / reports and punch lists are properly addressed and closed together with the client
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of QA/QC records
• Conduct internal quality audit based on project quality plan and client requirement
• Attend client QA/QC meeting
• Assist in preparation of Final Documentations for handover to clients

Qualifications and Work Experience

• At-least Diploma in electrical engineering
• Must have Electrical Power System background
