Job summary

Lian Beng Group is seeking a QA QC Engineer to monitor sampling and product quality testing on construction sites. You will manage data, test results, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will support project managers, prepare quality plans, conduct in-process checks, and coordinate with structural, architectural, and civil teams to deliver defect-free projects on time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' site QA/QC supervisor experience.
• Able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the site and project manager in architectural aspects of the construction works.
• Submit architectural samples, shop drawings and related documents to consultants/authorities.
• Implement the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved.
• Prepare project quality plan for execution.
• Carry out in-process checks with quality standards and good practices.
• Monitor and update CONQUAS / QUALITY assessment schedule and status.
• Support in tender reviews in quality areas when required.
• Attend QA/QC meetings and site inspections and ensure proper records.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and authority requirements.
• Liaise and coordinate with Site Project Managers and representatives (Structural, Architectural, Civil, etc.)

QA QC Engineer

The Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA&QC) Engineer /QA&QC Executive monitors sampling and product quality testing. He/She performs non-standard quality tests and manages documentation of data and test results.

Responsibilities

• Support the site and project manager in architectural aspect of the construction works.
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities.
• Implementing the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved.
• Prepare project quality plan for execution.
• Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices.
• Monitor and update schedule and status of CONQUAS / QUALITY assessment.
• Support in tender review in quality areas, when required.
• Attend QA/QC meetings and site inspection and ensure proper record and documentation.
• Ensure all activities carried out are in full compliance to all regulatory and authority requirement.
• Liaise and Coordinate closely with Site Project Managers and representatives (Structural, Architectural, Civil, etc.)

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in respective discipline Engineering, project management, or equivalent tertiary education.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in site QA/QC supervisor role.
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company.
