Job summary

A leading aerospace service provider in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform metallurgical laboratory sample preparation, conduct inspections, and maintain inventory. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in an MRO QA environment and be proficient with measuring tools. A Local Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred. Strong English communication skills are essential, and candidates must be able to work on rotating shifts.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform metallurgical laboratory sample preparation, sample evaluation and generate evaluation report.
  • Perform incoming inspection of direct/indirect material.
  • Maintaining lab consumables/spare parts inventory.
  • Perform 6S housekeeping.
  • Assist in calibration and archiving of records.
  • Assist Quality Engineer and carry out other QA functions as required.
Qualifications
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in MRO QA environment.
  • Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as Caliper and Micrometer.
  • Basic understanding of interpreting GD&T drawing.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Able to multitask to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Prior laboratory experience.
  • CCL certificate will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work on monthly rotating shifts (7.30am to 4.48pm and 7.30pm to 4.48am)
Education Requirements
  • Local Diploma Holders in Mechanical Engineering Holders or equivalent with no experience are welcome to apply.
  • Higher Nitec/Nitec in Precision Engineering / Aerospace Machining / Mechanical or equivalent
