Job description
Duties:
  • Supervise QA inspectors and technicians in daily quality operations, ensuring tasks are planned, assigned, and monitored according to standards.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to enhance team competency and support continuous improvement.
  • Promote quality awareness and best practices across departments through effective leadership.
  • Oversee inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance for all QA activities.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist with external quality audits.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems such as ISO, HACCP, or GMP.
  • Manage customer complaints professionally by conducting investigations, performing root cause analysis, and executing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Communicate investigation results and resolutions to customers and management, maintaining a detailed complaint log.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance product quality and reduce rework or waste.
  • Participate in product trials, validations, and change control processes.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to management.
  • Maintain and update SOPs and other quality documentation to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
