Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of incoming materials, in-process works, and final products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Review supplier documentation, material certificates, and test reports.
- Develop and maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, and SOP documentation.
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections (e.g. welding, piping, surface, leak test).
- Support NDT, hydro/pneumatic tests, and verification of welding procedures and qualifications.
- Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and ensure adherence to ASME, ISO, or QMS standards.
- Identify non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and auditors for quality-related matters.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITE / Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in QA/QC or inspection (manufacturing / piping / marine / fabrication).
- Knowledge of ISO / QMS / ASME standards.
- Experience in welding inspection, NDT, or piping QA will be an advantage.
