Job summary

A construction quality management firm in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Specialist. The role involves implementing quality assurance systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates must have at least 3 years of construction site experience and knowledge of QA/QC methods. Experience in LTA projects is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related construction site experience.
• Proven experience in QA/QC methods of assessment.
• Experience in LTA projects is preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Implementing the QA/QC system to ensure quality targets are achieved
• Develop Project quality plans, project QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), etc. basing the project requirements
• Conduct briefing in line with the quality standards and good practices
• Carry out in-process checks with the quality standards and good practices
• Monitor and update schedule and status of CONQUAS / QUALITY assessment or any other given award(s)
• Liaise with the relevant authorities on the submission status
• Liaise and Coordinate closely with Site Project Managers and representatives (Structural, Architectural, Civil, etc.)
• To plan, conduct and monitor the project(s)’ in-process quality inspections.
• To prepare, issue and monitor the closing of quality inspection reports.
• To ensure proper record keeping of all QA/QC documents (i.e. inspections records, reports, authority documents etc.)
• Maintains good documentation.
• Conducts stage wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works.
• Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests.
• Prepares quality control procedures and repair procedures for welding.
