Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a QAQC Specialist to implement and monitor quality assurance processes. You will ensure compliance with food safety standards and conduct inspections of products. The ideal candidate has a degree in Food Science and 2–3 years of experience in QAQC. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor QAQC policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards (BRC, HACCP, FSSC, GMP).
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Develop and maintain proper documentation and records for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Operations teams to ensure continuous improvement in quality standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control practices.
  • Support internal and external audits, including certification renewals.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in QAQC within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (BRC, HACCP, FSSC, GMP).
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
