Job summary

CREC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. seeks a QA/QC Engineer to ensure construction works, materials and workmanship meet approved drawings, specs, and standards. You will coordinate testing, maintain quality records, and work with the project team, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve required quality.

You will conduct inspections, identify non-conformances, and assist with handover documentation, audits, and defect rectifications to fulfil contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with drawings and specs.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship for quality.
• Prepare and manage QA/QC documentation and records.
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate rectification actions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on quality matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship and construction quality.
• Prepare and manage RFI, MIR, ITP, NCR and other QA/QC documentation.
• Inspect materials and coordinate required testing.
• Identify defects and non-conforming works and follow up on rectification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams on quality matters.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, Singapore Standards, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain inspection, testing, and quality records.
• Assist with quality audits, defect inspections, project completion, and handover documentation.
