Job summary

Williams-Sonoma Singapore Pte. Ltd. is offering an internship to support Engineering, QA, Testing, and Compliance teams. The role involves maintaining engineering processes, creating SOPs, and extracting data for business initiatives using Excel and Python; Power BI for dashboards is part of the remit.

You will gain hands-on experience in engineering data management, documentation control, and cross-functional collaboration across regions, with exposure to SolidWorks and DraftSight for CAD work.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and charting.
• Experience with Power BI and VBA would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or Microsoft Power Apps for data analytics and automation would be preferred.
• CAD skills: SolidWorks and DraftSight for 2D/3D modelling (AutoCAD background advantageous).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a team.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Systems/Mechatronics, Data Analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute Spot audit Product Engineering documentation from in-house system.
• Review data outputs from existing systems for improvement.
• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and DraftSight.
• Data visualization and reporting using Microsoft Power BI.
• Engineering documentation and process improvement.
• Product quality, testing, and compliance activities.
• Internal systems and data management.
