Job summary

A leading food safety consultancy is seeking a Food Safety Manager to develop and implement compliance strategies with various food safety standards. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry, including expertise in HACCP and ISO 22000. Strong leadership skills and experience in auditing and quality management are essential. The position offers a competitive salary of up to $4,500/month with various bonuses.

Job description

Develop and implement the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in compliance with SFA licensing conditions, HACCP, ISO 22000, Halal, and other standards.

Lead preparatory work for GACC registration/application to support export operations to China.

Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations for both import and export activities.

Oversee quality control (QC) processes, including product sampling, testing, and record management.

Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to align with regulatory and company standards.

Lead internal and external audits, manage certifications, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

Conduct mock recall exercises to test and improve recall readiness and product traceability systems.

Ensure product labelling compliance, including allergen declarations and country-specific requirements.

Develop and implement sampling plans for raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.

Provide training and coaching to team members on food safety systems and best practices.

Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues through root cause analysis and CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions).

Analyse audit results, customer feedback, and production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Liaise with regulatory authorities locally and internationally for import/export matters.

Requirements

Additional Information

Location: Boon Lay
Salary: Up to $4,500/month + 13th Month AWS + Variable Bonus (based on personal & company performance)
Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM
  • Alternate Saturdays: 7:45 AM – 11:45 AM
