Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Quality Inspector to conduct inspections on incoming deliveries of general items. The successful candidate will understand technical specifications, apply quality control methods, and prepare reports on rejected products. Minimum GCE O level is required, along with experience in quality inspection. This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to $2800, with office hours from Monday to Friday.

Job Descriptions:

Inspection of Incoming Deliveries of General items

• Understand the information on the Goods Receipt Note and identify and retrieve the technical specifications for the respective products in the GRN
• Apply the sampling size plan and acceptance / rejection number based on the Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) stated in sampling Standards for Quality Control
• Understand the functional, visual & dimensional requirements of the product stated in the customers’ technical specifications
• Inspect the product in accordance to the functional, visual & dimensional requirements stated in the customers’ technical specifications
• Identify additional requirements on product that may not be stated in the customers’ technical specifications and inspect these requirements
• Assess if the product delivered is acceptable based on the functional, visual & dimensional requirements stated in the customers’ technical specifications
• Prepare the rejection report and state the reason(s) for the rejection of the product or delivery

Assessment of Rejected Products On-site and Off-site

• Assess products rejected by customers if the defect or damage is due to manufacturing or inappropriate usage
• System receipt (e.g. Warehouse Management System / SAP)

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE O level and above withyears of relevant experience
