Job Title: QA Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance / Production
Reports To: QA Supervisor / Quality Manager
Job Summary:

The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured in the plant meet company and customer quality standards. The role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring materials, components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products according to quality standards and specifications.
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to verify product dimensions.
  • Record inspection data accurately and prepare quality inspection reports.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances or defects to supervisors and assist in corrective action processes.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Verify that production processes are being carried out in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain and ensure calibration of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Participate in internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and workplace safety standards.
Requirements:
  • GCE O Level/NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and inspection methods.
  • Familiar with quality tools such as 5S, SPC, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently or in a team.
Work Conditions:
  • Based at the manufacturing plant or production floor.
  • May require shift work, overtime, or weekend duty depending on production schedules.
