Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to implement ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 QMS and improve quality practices. This role involves managing audits, developing training programs, and handling customer quality issues in the semiconductor industry. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering, relevant certifications, and at least 2 years of experience. Must be willing to work overtime and travel frequently.

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
  • Proficient in quality assurance standards including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Experience in semiconductor industry and handling customer quality issues.

Job description
Overview

Implement and improve ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 QMS to drive quality excellence.

Develop training programs, plan and document quality audits and recommend corrective actions.

Manage system aligned with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.

Work with customers/suppliers to coordinate document revisions.

Analyze and publish monthly Quality Reports to track quality metrics, audit findings.

Participate in management review meetings to highlight areas of concern within the QMS.

Lead process approach and identify risk to enhance quality practices and operational efficiency.

Comply with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, policies, and procedures.

Conduct EHS audits to verify ongoing compliance, identify hazards.

Qualifications
  • Certification in Engineering with 2 years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control functions.
  • Proficient in 8D reports, Ishikawa diagrams, PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC, and Control Plans.
  • Certification in IATF 16949, proficient in 8D reports, PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, SPC etc.
QA Engineer (Customer Support)

Handling customer quality issues & continuous improvement activities of products & processes.

Coordinate with quality related issues to follow-up on effective corrective/preventive actions.

Perform activities such as process optimization, benchmarking through statistical tools/software.

Handle external audit in accordance to Technical Specifications & ISO standards.

Degree in Chemical/Chemistry/Materials Science/Mechanical Engineering

Experience in servicing customers' quality related issues in semiconductor industry

Knowledge of DOE & JMP and QC tools (FMEA, SPC and 8D format report writing)

Diploma/Degree in Engineering with 2 years experience. Entry level are welcome to apply.

Willing to work overtime when needed and travel overseas 2-3 time per month.
