Job summary

Binance is a leading global blockchain ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior Backend QA Engineer to design, implement, and oversee automated and manual testing across backend services, databases, and APIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of QA engineering experience with backend testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across the full testing lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing for backend systems, APIs, databases, and distributed services.
• Identify, analyze, track, and report defects, including root cause analysis of failures.
• Conduct testing for new features and document test scenarios and expected behaviors.
• Advocate QA best practices and improve overall test coverage and product quality.
• Perform performance, security, and scalability testing for backend services.
• Lead big data QA testing, automation framework setup, data comparison scripts, and release process improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of QA engineering experience, with strong expertise in backend testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing across the full testing lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript, with experience in automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and SDLC.
• Familiarity with QA efficiency tools, AI/LLM, performance testing, and security testing.
• Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr, and familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes preferred.
