Job summary

BD Singapore in Tuas is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Auditor to support incoming material inspections, supplier quality management, and GMP compliance within our manufacturing operations.

You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, verify documents like COCs/COAs, and help maintain ISO/QMS standards, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material releases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 'O' Levels or equivalent.
• Competency assessment in accordance with assigned work tasks.
• Able to understand and use SAP and Microsoft Outlook.
• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, or regulated industries preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP, ISO/QMS requirements, and SAP is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality excellence.

Responsibilities

• Incoming Material Inspection: perform visual, graphical and dimensional inspections on incoming materials and components.
• Supplier Feedback & Material Release Coordination: communicate discrepancies and ensure corrective actions before release.
• Non‑Conformance Handling: manage non‑conforming materials per procedures and assist in defect verification.
• Quality Notification & Material Control: raise QNs and quarantine defective materials as needed.
• Record Keeping & Audit Support: maintain inspection records and support audits.
• Prioritization & Quality Decision‑Making: prioritize inspections to prevent production downtime.
• Database & SAP Reporting: update databases daily and produce SAP reports.
• Internal Coordination: coordinate with teams for sample collection and urgent releases.
• Improvement initiatives: participate in supplier qualification and Kaizen activities.
